Born and raised in Richardson Texas, Jay Snyder has a lifelong familiarity of the North Dallas area. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, he began his career in children's ministry at a local Church where he and his family continue to serve as members.

Jay and his wife, Catherine, met at J.J. Pearce High School and both headed north for college in Oklahoma. After graduating, they moved back to the Dallas area and got married. Jay and Catherine currently live in West Richardson with their three children.
