As first-time homebuyers many years ago, we were completely in the dark! All we knew was that buying a home was a good investment and we wanted a place to call our own. We found a house we liked, contacted the listing agent, viewed the property, and before we knew it, we were signing an offer contract. While everything went smoothly, we realized we were navigating the process without any real knowledge. A few years later, when it was time to move again, we hired the first agent we called without considering any other options—after all, they were the professionals. Looking back, that was a mistake, and it led to a frustrating experience.
